The Organic Village Pvt. Ltd., established in 2003 by young entrepreneurs with the self motivation to promote organic products, is just not a profit making company that sells organic products but also an information center for farmers, students and researchers.
The organic village promotes environment & people friendly handicraft products, facilitates organic farming practices towards reducing land degradation, deforestation, climate change and global warming thereby maintaining ecological balance. It has succeeded in endorsing national level with the initial support from UNDP-global environment facility/small grants programme (GEF/SGP).
The company has already influenced towards the global market with its more than 350 commodities and 400 communities involvement holding in 664 hectares of feasible agricultural land i.e. 200 hectare grassland, 400 hectare private forest, 3000 hectare community forest in 42 districts of various geographical region of Nepal that benefits approximately 22000 people.
Transparency, fair trade is a platform to bring both producer and consumers at one venue. Diverse variety of products, the established network at national & international makes The Organic Village undisputable leader and dedicated towards providing quality services.
